We had arrived in Valencia the day before and decided to take this tour to give us an idea of what to see in the city, get the layout of where various places were and not tire ourselves out by walking for miles. “As a wine lover, looked forward to this experience only to be disappointed. The event was way overbooked with about 35 people on this tiny terrace. The actual occupancy should’ve been max 10-15 people. Everyone was sardined in and couldn’t move nor hear the explanation. Speaking of sardines, the “high-end petit fours” were sardine paste on white bread and a whipped gorgonzola thingie with fig, along with plain white bread. All of which were served late in the tasting and were of questionable taste level. All in all, the wine selection was fine, the host provided some information although it was hard to hear with all the people there and…”

It was very hot on the day, that couldn't be helped but it was the only downside to making it more enjoyable. We decided to do our own thing for the afternoon though we could have picked from either two excursions. Valencia is a beautiful city and worth seeing however the day was very hot so not a lot of sightseeing could be done and the would be ideal for a city break to have more time to explore as it's a big city. “Sharin was a fantastic guide. She was so full of enthusiasm for what she was showing us. She had to be very flexible as we started out with more people than car space (were two excursions merged?). None of us were expecting the number of tapas that we were offered or the quantity and quality of wine. She also was able to tell us about each wine which enhanced the experience.
